Farallon Electronics specializes in the design, sale and distribution of equipment and services to marine, commercial and emergency service organizations. Our emphasis is on communications, instrumentation and navigation systems with a mission to provide unique, high quality products and personal service to discerning clients. Each of our staff is knowledgeable in their particular field and an experienced business professional. Farallon Electronics was created in 1989 in Sausalito, California.
Farallon Electronics was named after the Farallon Islands which are located 26 miles off the coast of San Francisco in Northern California.
WHO WE ARE
Yev Ossipov- President of Farallon Electronics. He actively sails and races in the SF Bay Area and offshore. Yev is a USCG certifed boatbuilder and carries extensive experience in construction management and custom fabrication across a broad range of trades and disciplines. He specializes in project management starting from initial consultation through system design, installation, and commissioning.
Eric Steinberg- Founder of Farallon Electronics. He is an FCC licensed marine electronics technician with extensive experience on custom yachts. Eric specializes in three areas: product development and system design, grand prix racing yacht systems from One Design to Americas Cup and video technology from the broadcast television industry. Eric has won an Emmy award, shares in two patents and has numerous accolades for his work and products.
Janice Piehoff- Accounting Manager and Office Admin, wearing almost all the “hats” we have. Janice is the financial contact for vendors (AR / AP).
