PRODUCT DETAILS
The new Rudder Position Sensor is compatible with Hy-Pro ML+ marine linear drives with 200, 250 and 300 mm strokes.
Compatibility HS+ marine hydraulic systems with 250 and 300 mm strokes will follow.
Whilst its predecessor had a “resistive” type of feedback, our new unit is ‘solid state’. This means it has no moving parts connected to the rudder quadrant or linkages, making the Rudder Position Sensor far less susceptible to damage in the steering locker.
The sensor attaches directly to the cylinder and tracks the position of the piston head.
The position is then converted into an analogue 0v to +5v or an optional digital NMEA2000 output and is compatible with many autopilot course computers.
